Portfolio: WikiPixi

Wikipixi was a global whiteboard that allowed users to draw pixel art and watch as others drew at the same time. This was written when I worked for Branded 3, and I was responsible for the entire frontend. Originally this was a desktop 'widget' for windows Vista but later it evolved into a website that is unfortunately long gone.

The original site was built in .net and designed to run on IE6. What you see here is a recreation, vPixi, written in PHP and altered to work better with modern browsers. Although the fact that IE6 doesn't have any image optimisation means the pixels often displays better in the older browsers.
